Watch: New ‘Isle of Dogs’ “Cast Interviews” from Wes Anderson

Fox Searchlight has released a new video piece of behind-the-scenes magic for upcoming stop-motion feature Isle of Dogs: “Cast Interviews,” imagined and directed by Wes Anderson. The five-minute animated companion short features the voices of Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Liev Schreiber, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, F. Murray Abraham and Bob Balaban as animated dogs on set talking about their characters. The short was shot in London over three months and brought to life by the feature’s same creative team.

Isle of Dogs arrives in theaters March 23 — look out for our feature story in the April issue of Animation Magazine to learn more about this artistic gem!

Isle of Dogs tells the story of Atari Kobayashi, 12-year-old ward to corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. When, by Executive Decree, all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island, Atari sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture
