To bring its classic cartoon characters to life in the upcoming live-action/animated theatrical feature Looney Tunes, Back In Action, Warner Bros. has chosen to use USAnimation, the 2D animation software from Montreal, Canada-based Toon Boom Technologies.

Scheduled to hit the big screen this coming holiday season, Looney Tunes, Back In Action will enlist Bugs Bunny and his animated pals to help star Brendan Fraser find his adventurer father (Timothy Dalton) and a fabled precious stone.

Warner Bros. started production in December 2002. The studio is among the first to employ the new and redesigned USAnimation, to be released this spring.
