Seth MacFarlane to Speak at SXSW

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has been added to the roster of panelists at this year’s edition of South by Southwest Film Conference, held in Austin March 9-13.  The popular toon meister will be talking about his projects on TV, his foray into music and his live-action/CG  feature Ted. The chat with will be held on Sunday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at  the Vimeo Theater of the Austin Convention. Other panelists include Joss Whedon, Jeffrey Tambor, Lena Dunham, Judd Apatow, Cliff Martinez and Kevin Smith.

In related new, British comic Ricky Gervais is part of a special episode of Family Guy this Sunday. Gervais, who is a big fan of MacFarlane’s show, will provide the voice of Billy Funn, a dolphin who enjoys tormenting Peter, who accidentally fished him out of the water. “I always wanted to play an annoying dolphin,” Gervais explained to ew.com!
