Naruto Movie Headed for Big Screen

Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow, the first feature-length outing for the popular anime series, is coming to 162 theaters in the U.S. Tickets are now on sale for the special one-night-only theatrical run, which will take place on Wednesday, June 6 at 7 p.m. (local time). Presented by VIZ Media and NCM FATHOM, the entertainment division of National CineMedia, the screenings will be held at select AMC, Cinemark, Regal Entertainment Group and Georgia Theatre Company movie theatres nationwide.

A box office hit in Japan, Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow continues the exploits of a young boy named Uzumaki Naruto, a ninja in training who is cursed with the spirit of the nine-tailed fox demon sealed within his body. Though he is bullied and experiences discriminated from his fellow villagers, Naruto is resilient and his determination often inspires those around him. Through his adventures, he learns the importance of friendship, teamwork, loyalty, hard work, creativity, ingenuity and right over wrong.

The kid-targeted animated Naruto television series boasts millions of loyal fans on Cartoon Network and the Teen-rated manga version (also published by VIZ Media) has become one of the best selling and most popular graphic novels in North America. The manga series also won the 2006 Quill Award for Best Graphic Novel, a first for the manga genre.

Tickets for the special theatrical engagement of Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow can be purchased for $10 at or at participating theatre box offices. A complete list of theatre locations can also be found at the site. For more information on Naruto, go to
