Lupin Sneaks into Live Action

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Whitelight Ent. has acquired worldwide live-action feature film rights to the manga/anime property Lupin the Third.

Created by Monkey Punch and distributed by Tokyo Movie Shinsha Co., the Lupin series of comic books, video games and animated shows and features follows the adventures of a daring master thief constantly pursued by police and hit men.

Whitelight, the production company recently formed by Minority Report producer Gerald Molen, is reportedly looking for a writer to adapt Lupin.
