Kidtoon Films Offers ‘Sid the Science Kid’ Package
NCircle Ent. and Kidtoon Films have joined forces to offer TV episodes of Henson’s Sid the Science Kid to the big screen this month. Titled Sid the Science Kid Backyard Campout.
The program finds Sid and his buddy Gerald go camping and learn about the animals and insets that live in their backyards. The preschool offering is part of Kidtoons’ ongoing matinee program which screens in more than 120 movie theaters across the U.S.
Kidtoons is also planning blogger and theater giveaway programs and DVD giveaways on Facebook, Twitter and the company website www.kidtoonfilms.com. Created and produced by The Jim Henson Company, Sid the Science Kid first premiered in 2008 and it airs weekdays on PBS Kids (www.pbskids.org/sid).
