Kevin Grevioux is jumping behind the cameras to direct his first feature film, The Pale Horseman, based on his own graphic novel.

Grevioux, who co-created the Underworld franchise, will write the screenplay for the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Pale Horseman is a supernatural thriller about a group of hitmen who come together to find out who killed their mentor.

The graphic novel was published through Grevioux’s own imprint, DarkStorm Studios. The film will be produced by Nehst Studios with Sandrunner Entertainment and DarkStorm Filmworks.

Grevioux also has optioned two other graphic novels, with Benderspink picking up ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction and Death Ray Films grabbing I, Frankenstein.
