Fire At Disney Studios

Firefighters were called to a 3-alarm blaze at the Disney Feature Animation building in Burbank, Calif. A fire broke out on Stage 2 where construction was underway for the upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean. Disney says the fire was quickly contained by the building’s sprinkler system and that the film’s production will not be impacted.

Smoke was reportedly seen from the adjacent 134 freeway as news helicopters arrived on the scene.

No one was reported hurt in the fire.
