Episode II Goes IMAX

Lucasfilm Ltd., The IMAX Corp. and Twentieth Century Fox have announced that Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones will be coming to an IMAX theater near you this holiday season. The second prequel installment will hit large format screens in the U.S. and Canada starting Nov. 1, 2002.

In preparation for the presentation, the film will undergo the revolutionary IMAX Digital Re-mastering process. Image quality and sound will be enhanced to serve the IMAX experience, which involves projection on a screen up to eight stories high and more than 100 feet wide. Episode II will be the first digitally captured film to get this treatment.
