DreamWorks Sets ‘Me and My Shadow’ for 2013

Me and My Shadow, a mixture of CG and traditional 2D animation, is coming from DreamWorks Animation in 2013.

The studio announced the movie and set a release date of March 2013.

The movie is described as the story of a restless shadow who takes control of the boring life of the kid he’s attached to.

Mark Dindal will direct. He has credits with both 2D and 3D feature animation on Disney’s Chicken Little and DreamWorks’ The Emperor’s New Clothes.

The original screenplay by Steve Bencich and Ron Friedman is getting a revision from Tom Astle and Matt Ember.

Melissa Cobb and Theresa Cheng are producing, and Shane Prigmore is set as head of story.
