Disney Fools With Animation Pitch

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has acquired the proposed animated family feature The Fool’s Errand, pitched by American Pie 2 scribe David H. Steinberg.

The story, which will reportedly follow a court jester’s quest to restore peace to a kingdom, is Steinberg’s first stab at the genre, a stretch from his work on teen comedies including Slackers and the upcoming After School Special.
