Daredevil Red-Hot Again

Despite a drop-off of more than 50%, Twentieth Century Fox’s entry in the superhero bonanza is No. 1 at the box office for a second week. The effects laden actioner has pulled in an estimated $70 with the past weekend’s take of around $19 million. That was just enough to edge out DreamWorks’ R-rated comedy, Old School, which hazed audiences to the tune of $17.5 million.

Behind Paramount’s How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is Disney’s The Jungle Book 2, still swinging in the No. 4 spot where it debuted last week. The $20 million movie has already brought in around $25 million. Miramax’s Chicago rounds out the top five as it dances its way toward the coveted $100 million mark.
