Oscar-nominees Helena Bonham-Carter and Ralph Fiennes have signed on to the voice cast of DreamWorks’ and Aardman’s upcoming feature Wallace and Gromit: Curse Of The Wererabbit, according to the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com). The film is set to begin principal photography in Bristol, England this week at Aardman.

Wallace and Gromit are the stars of Nick Park’s Oscar-winning clay animation shorts The Wrong Trousers (1993) and A Close Shave (1995), as well as the nominated A Grand Day Out. The duo recently appeared in Cracking Contraptions, a series of minute-long online misadventures for Atom Films, and had their video game debut with Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo from BAM! Ent.

Their feature film debut has Wallace and Gromit hunting down a mysterious beast which has been rampaging their village’s prize marrows and potatoes just days before the giant vegetable-growing contest. Bonham-Carter will reportedly voice new character Lady Tottington, and Fiennes will provide the voice of Lord Victor Quatermaine. Curse of the Wererabbit is rumored to have a budget of $80 million and is slated for release sometime in 2005.
