‘Arrietty’ Has an $8 Million Weekend
Although The Secret World of Arrietty landed on the No. 8 Spot at the box-office chart for the long President’s Day weekend, the very well-reviewed Disney release of the Studio Ghibli movie managed to bring in about $8.102 million domestically from 1522 theaters.
The No. 1 title for the weekend was the Denzel Washington/Ryan Reynolds thriller Safe House, which raked in about $28.4 million. Here is the complete list:
