Sony Pictures Animation has a tasty morsel for the toon town kiddies in honor of Halloween: The first character designs for Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler), star of their upcoming CG animated feature Hotel Transylvania.

Due out Sept. 12, 2012, the flick focuses on Dracula who runs a lavish resort hotel for famous monsters and their families to get away from the wearisome human world. But when his adventurous daughter falls for a mortal boy, the Prince of Darkness may have bitten off more than he can chew (err, suck?). Kevin James, Fran Drescher, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, Cee Lo Green and Andy Samberg also star in this spooktacular film which is directed by toon legend Genndy Tartakovsky (Sym-Bionic Titan, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack).
