9/9/02 Spirited Away Premieres At Toronto Int’l Film Fest

Slated for U.S. theatrical release on Sept. 20, Spirited Away (Sen To Chihiro Kamakakushi) follows the adventures of Sen, a young girl who wanders into the spirit world and struggles to release her parents from the spell of a powerful overlord.

Walt Disney Studios has released these photos from the Toronto Int’l Film Festival, where Director Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononke, Kiki’s Delivery Service) premiered his latest animated masterpiece on Saturday, Sept 7. The film makes its L.A. debut tomorrow, Sept. 10 at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. A tribute to Miyazaki will accompany the screening.
