Women in Animation Presents Shorts Panel

For those who have been thinking about making their own animated short film, the Los Angeles chapter of Women in Animation will shed some light on the process with a special panel discussion taking place as part of its next general meeting. The event takes place on Friday, Oct. 26 at DreamWorks. Doors will open for networking 6:30 p.m., with the meeting kicking off at 7 p.m.

Moderated by Sarah Baisley, ‘So You Wanna Make A Short?’ will feature insight from several animation industry pros. Panelists include Nick Conafalone, development coordinator for Walt Disney Studios’ shorts program; Peter Gal, VP of animation development at Nickelodeon; Kevin Geiger and Moon Seun from the Animation Co-op; Eric Homan of Frederator Studios; and Rusty Mills from internet startup MyToons.
