Just in time for the Memorial weekend, fanboy favorite Bryan Singer announced...


Two episodes of The Simpsons, two episodes of Futurama and one episode of Back at the Barnyard have been nominated for 2011 Writes Guild Awards in the lead TV animation category.
Presented by the East and West branches of the WGA, the winners will be announced at a bi-coastal awards ceremony set for Feb. 5.

Additionally, the live-action documentary The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special — In 3-D On Ice, written by Jeremy Chilnick and Morgan Spurlock, was nominated in Comedy/Variety – Music, Awards, Tributes and Specials category.
