Prolific animation writer Ron Friedman is selling his collection of scripts, artwork and drawings from his days on such iconic series as Transformers and G.I. Joe through memorabilia auction house Heritage Auctions.

The items are part of Heritage’s Nov. 19 auction of comics and comic art, and include Freidman’s original shooting scripts, in-house artwork and drawings of the toys, bios of the characters and more.

A highlight of the collection is material related to the controversial death of Optimus Prime in the Transformers cartoon, as well as scripts for The Marvel Action Hour, Iron Man and Fantastic Four cartoons.

The items can be seen online at http://comics.ha.com/common/search_results.php?N=52+793+794+791+1893+792+4294953921+4294966754.
