Canada’s National Film Board has announced the fourth edition of its Get Animated! Program, which offers free screenings and activities across the country from Oct. 26 to Nov. 7.

The series — created to be Canada’s contribution to International Animation Day, set this year for Oct. 28 — will present several programs that include the NFB’s most-recent releases, a “Fairy Tales for All” program, master classes from NFB animatos and additional special programs in select cities.

Get Animated! events are slated to take place in Toronto at the NFB Mediatheque from Oct. 26-31; in Montreal at the NFB CinéRobothèque from Oct. 28–31, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from Oct. 28–31; in Edmonton, Alberta, on Oct. 28; Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Oct. 28–29 and Nov. 6–7; in Vancouver, B.C., from Oct. 28–Nov. 1; in Moncton, New Brunswick on Oct. 31; and in Calgary, Alberta, on Nov. 6–7.
