Fans, young and old, will have the opportunity to check out new titles including NFL GameDay 2004, Jak II, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando and NBA ShootOut 2004, as well as EyeToy, a vevice which incorporates a USB camera with motion-tracking technology to allow gamers to star in their own games.
An annual event produced by Herb Weisbaum, NBC’s Toy Test is a venue for children of all ages to test the hottest new games for the approaching holiday season. Results gathered from children surveyed throughout the two-week engagement (open and free to the public) serve as the backdrop for Weisbaum’s broadcast segment which airs on The Today Show one week prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. Toy Test runs Monday, August 11 through Sunday, August 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily at Seattle’s Pacific Science Center.
