‘Irish Folk Furniture’ Wins Top Sundance Animation Prize

Tony Donoghue’s short Irish Folk Furniture has picked up the Best Animated Short prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Funded by the Irish Film Board, the short brings to life the cultural and social history of Irish farmhouse furniture and was selected from more than 8,000 short film applications.

The film has also been available to view on YouTube for the duration of the festival only and has received more than 138,000 views.
