Chuck Jones Gallery Hosts Garfield Creator Jim Davis

As news circulates that actor Bill Murray will provide the voice of Garfield the cat in the upcoming Twentieth Century Fox. feature film, The Chuck Jones Studio Gallery in San Diego tonight celebrates Garfield’s 25th Anniversary with an exhibition of the art of Jim Davis.

Davis will make a rare personal appearance at the gallery to discuss his life with Garfield and sign his work. The exhibit will include original comic strip art, paintings, limited editions and original production art from the Garfield animated TV series.

The event will be held tonight, May 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 2501 San Diego Ave., San Diego, Calif. For more information, phone 619-294-9880
