A special musical treat is in store for attendees of this year’s D23...


WonderCon has come and gone — but not without offering up some amazing highlights from the return of ThunderCats and the big-screen debut of Green Lantern.
First among them is a new trailer for the return of the ThunderCats as a new animated series that will air on Cartoon Network. Based upon the iconic 1980s action classic, ThunderCats tells the epic tale of Lion-O and his battle against evil in the quest for the fabled Stones of Power. The series is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold).

Also making a huge splash was the debut of more extensive footage from Green Lantern, the live-action adaptation of the DC Comics hero due out June 17. That footage also has been released online, so take a look:
