Cartoon Movie Announces Special Tribute Nominees

The directors of European features A Town Called Panic, Eleanor’s Secret and Metropia are among the nominees of this year’s Cartoon Movie Special Tributes. The winners will be announced in Lyon, France on March 5.

Directors and companies from France, Belgium, Sweden, Spain and Poland are among the finalists for these special awards for outstanding contribution to the development of European animation over the last year.

Last year, The Secret of Kells and the film’s director Tomm Moore were the big winners of the Cartoon Movie Tributes.
