BroadcastAsia Electrifies Singapore in June

As more broadcast, cable and animation entities eye the growing Asian territories, this year’s annual BroadcastAsia conference promises to be one of the hottest tickets in June (13-16). The event will provide a platform for attendees who are aiming to engage in the next wave of electronic media creation and development as well as offering a special focus on animation and graphics arenas.

"This year’s conference addresses an exciting mix of trends and issues such as opportunities in a mobile world, broadcaster business issues and much more," says Jackson Yeoh, senior project manager with Singapore Exhibition Services (SES), organizer of BroadcastAsia. "Not only do these tracks complement the exhibition showcase, they also promise to engage and bring the industry together on a common platform for the exchange and sharing of ideas."

In addition to the intensive program of panels featuring global media and digital experts, this year’s event puts a special emphasis on animation at the ComGraph2005 Competition and Screenings. Organized by the Singapore chapter of Siggraph and managed by SES, the annual ComGraph digital art and animation competition is regarded as the leading digital art and animation competition in the region.
