BBC Shines at Childrens BAFTAS

The BBC emerged victorious at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ annual Childrens’ BAFTA Awards, held Sunday night. The British Broadcasting Company and its affiliates brought home seven awards, including top honors for drama, factual, international, pre-school live-action, schools drama and schools factual — secondary programming.

In addition, Peter Tabern took the writing award for his work on Childsplay TV/CBBC1′s Stig of the Dump and Matt Baker was named Best Presenter for CBBC/CBBC1′s Blue Peter.
