Disney twenty-three magazine is offering three special collectible covers featuring different Avengers’ characters for its summer issue, which will be available on May 1.
Coinciding with the worldwide theatrical release of Marvel’s The Avengers, the summer issue of Disney twenty-three features a 10-page story on the creation of the superhero film. Each of the magazine’s three front and back covers feature different characters:
1. Iron Man and Nick Fury on front; Hulk and Captain America on back
2. Thor and Black Widow on front; Iron Man and Hawkeye on back
3. Captain America on front; Hulk and Hawkeye on back
Readers are also treated to a special look at the making of Pixar’s Brave; a look at the newest cruise ship in the Disney Cruise Line named Fantasy; an interview with Glen Holt, the devoted husband of former Mouseketeer Annette Funicello, and a visit to Disneyland Paris, which turns 20 this year. The issue also features a fond remembrance of the life and legacy of Disney songwriter Robert B. Sherman.
