Artists who have worked on DreamWorks Animation’s blockbuster Shrek franchise will be on hand at this year’s VES FEST to tell war stories and discuss the challenges of bringing some of filmdom’s most popular characters to the big screen. The panel discussion will be held on Sunday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at the WGA Theater in Beverly Hills.
The event will introduce attendees to some of the original creators of the Shrek characters and unveil how they have continued to raise the bar from the original 2001 film to this summer’s box office smash, Shrek the Third. Panelists will include production designer Guillaume Aretos, character TD supervisor Lucia Modesto, head of character animation Tim Cheung and VFX supervisor Philippe Gluckman.
