Graphics House Puts Bond In mOcean

In addition to vodka martinis (shaken not stirred), a trademark of the James Bond franchise is the cool title sequence, always involving a gun, a sultry song and naked women in silhouette. Capturing that look and feel in the trailer for the upcoming 007 outing, Die Another Day, was the work of creative solutions company mOcean.

Specializing in the design and production of original motion graphics for the theatrical, broadcast, and commercials industries, the company’s title and graphics work on the trailer includes an ice pistol that fires a bullet and explodes, providing a segue into some hair-raising action clips.

Founded in 2000 by Michael McIntyre, mOcean created and produced the domestic trailer for Guy Ritchie’s Snatch, created graphics for the Planet of the Apes trailer, provided main titles for Mike Figgis’ Time Code and produced a theatrical trailer for Warner Bros.’ The Salton Sea.
