Canadians who don’t skip the commercials will be getting a peak at some delicious new animation from Wallace & Gromit creators Aardman Entertainment.

The U.K.-based company has animated a new spot for Funcheez Moon and Stars, a snack food aimed at kids. For non-Canadians, here’s a look at the commercial:

The spot was designed and directed by Rich Webber, who sculpted the original puppets. Aardman’s crew used them to make camera-ready models.

“I like the comedy between the three characters in the tense panicky moment; one is completely oblivious to the impending doom, one is calmly turning the key and one really loses it and panics!” says Webber.

The animation was produced using stop-motion techniques at Aardman, while the live-action segments were shot in Canada with Avion Films.
