Activision Inc has released the Kung Fu Panda video game demo on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360. Based on the upcoming CG feature film from DreamWorks Animation SKG, the demo features a full, multi-stage level that gives players an idea of what they can expect from the title.

Assuming the role of Po the Panda (voiced by Jack Black in the film), gamers can deliver diverse combo attacks against a variety of enemies, navigate multi-tiered environments and execute the comically powerful “Panda Stumble” and “Panda Quake” maneuvers. Players who beat the demo will receive an exclusive cheat code for the full game, which will allow them to unlock playable characters in multiplayer mode.

Slated to hit retail on June 3, the Kung Fu Panda game will take gamers on an epic adventure through 13 levels inspired by the movie. Players must master the specialized kung fu fighting styles of Po, his teacher Shifu, and legendary kung fu masters the Furious Five to become the Dragon Warrior and finally defeat the ultimate enemy, Tai Lung. Adding to the fun are unique co-op and competitive multiplayer modes, collectibles and a host of character upgrades. The game will be available for Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Windows and Nintendo DS. For more information, go to www.KungFuPandaGame.com.
