Independent animation studio TeamTO is starting production on a new CG-animated series titled International Hareport, which secured a pre-sale and development agreement with French broadcaster TF1 after its presentation at Cartoon Forum in 2006. TeamTO has joined forces with Filmwerken and ViviFilms to initially create 26 13-minute episodes of the HD comedy show set in the animal world.

In International Hareport, all the animals of the world have mysteriously acquired the ability to to fly and have mistaken a garden-variety field for a landing strip. The field is home to two extremely different rabbits, Fred and Ned, who decide to create a fully-blown international airport right on their patch of land.

Aimed at kids 6-10, the series is based on an original concept by Jan Bultheel, an animator and TV commercial director from Brussels. He will co-direct the show with Fabrice Fouquet, director of the award-winning TV series Zoé Kézako.
The show has received support from the Procirep and of the Centre National de la Cinématographie in France, and also benefits from several pre-sales in Europe, including Norway, Sweden and Belgium.
