U.K.-based global media group Entertainment Rights Plc has appointed 3DBA to sell its key brands for themed attractions. The new George of the Jungle animated series from Bullwinkle Studios and the classic Casper brand are currently being showcased at major trade shows throughout the world, and a number of deals are expected to be announced following these events.

The long-term partnership is focused on positioning ER’s brands as permanent fixtures in major theme parks and outdoor leisure attractions worldwide. ER and 3DBA have teamed with Falcon’s Treehouse for the design and master planning of the attractions, and will work together to secure other partners for developing such attractions as interactive water rides, dark rides and 4D, multi-sensory cinema experiences. The first in development is “George of the Jungle Splash Battle,” a family water ride that was unveiled last month at the Euro Amusement Show in Nice. Designs and plans for further attractions in development will be featured at the upcoming Dubai Entertainment & Leisure show, the IAAPA Asian Expo in Macau, and IAAPA Orlando later in the year.

The aggressive push into the arena of themed attractions builds on the efforts of ER’s successful live entertainment division. To date, the unit has focused on nationwide theatre tours, regional mall tours, multi-character live shows, pantomimes and summer residencies in leisure attractions throughout the U.K. for such ER properties as Basil Brush and Postman Pat.
