Cartoon Network’s 3D-animated action series Storm Hawks is making its way to home video with two separate volumes set for release on Jan. 15 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Storm Hawks—Hawks Rise Again and Storm Hawks—Tales From The Atmos will each feature four episodes and one exclusive bonus installment of the popular show from Nerd Corp. Ent.
Storm Hawks is the saga of five mismatched teens and their strange, furry sidekick, who defend the people of Atmos against an evil oppressor. Long after the original Sky Knights were taken out of commission by the dark forces of Cyclonia, our heroes stumble upon their technology and take up the quest to patrol the roadways and skyways in a bid to thwart villains on transforming flying motorcycles.
Each DVD volume has an approximated running time of 110 minutes and will come with a collectible, limited-edition Storm Hawks comic book in a foil and embossed O-ring. Other bonus features will include a montage of the Storm Hawks and their weapons, as well as a look at the Cyclonians and their instruments of evil. The releases will each carry a suggested retail price of $16.97.

I remember someone in the industry once told me that original ideas are the only ones that matter. What a crock of shit! Theres nothing original about Storm Hawks. Its clearly a rip off of Star Wars! Originality my ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Er... yeah. clearly remeber the violin playing bad guy in Star Wars. Hmmmmm.
And all the power-crystal things as well.
Whatever!
While some of the elements (OK, maybe a lot of them) have parallels in Star Wars, I think you are being a bit shallow casting this show off coz it has some things that are the same as in othe shows.
OK, they have glowing weapons (OMG - lightsabers!!), there is a young guy who is a kick-ass pilot and not bad in a fight (Holy S*** - Luke!), and there\'s that big strong one (Well scuk my **** it\'s Chewie!!), and don\'t forget those villages and CITIES IN THE CLOUDS - obviously.... THE BESPIN CLOUDS CITY!! Wait.... hang on CLOUDS.... I\'ve seen those before.... IN THE SKY!!! Those plagiarising ******s!!!
Seriously though, not much has anything truly original in it at all. Get over it and enjoy the show for what it is.
