FOX may have severely damaged its relationship with toon mogul Seth MacFarlane by deciding to continue producing new installments of Family Guy without his participation. Citing unnamed sources close to the show, The Hollywood Reporter brings word that fans of the show will be getting fresh Griffin family adventures while MacFarlane continues to picket with the WGA writers.

The last Family Guy episode completed with MacFarlane aired on Sunday night, and it appeared as though FOX would have to air reruns of the highly rated animated series. Speaking form the picket line, Macfarlane told the trades that 20th Century Fox Television could finish other nearly completed installments without him, but warned that he would not be very happy with the move.

The first new epispde was reportedly delivered to FOX on Tuesday, and is supposedly one of three that was nearing completion when MacFarlane walked off the show in a show of support for the writers. A few other episodes had been put into the pipeline but only so much can be done without the series creator, who also voices a majority of the show’s characters.

Seriously, a d*ck move. Most of my friends are fans of \"Family Guy,\" and none of us care to watch the show without Mr. MacFarlane\'s involvement. Way to bite one of the major hands that feeds you, FOX. Not that most of us were not well aware Murdoch & Co. are pretty much an evil empire.

I can put together a family guy episode, get paid what I want, make the studio happy, and still be cheaper than macfarlane
