The animated children's series Little Bill, based on the best-selling book series by Bill Cosby, will join NOGGIN’s preschool line-up on Monday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. (ET). The Emmy, Peabody and Humanitas Award-winning show will air weekdays at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and weekends at 1:30 p.m.

Little Bill follows the adventures of an inquisitive and highly imaginative five-year-old boy. With the help of his loving family and friends, Little Bill explores the ordinary and extraordinary events that make up the daily life of a child. The voice cast includes Xavier Pritchett as Little Bill, Gregory Hines as Big Bill, Phylicia Rashad as mother Brenda and Ruby Dee as great-grandmother Alice the Great.

"Congratulations to the people who stopped me on the street to ask me when Little Bill was going back on the air," says Bill Cosby. "Thank you to NOGGIN for doing just that."

Little Bill originally launched on Nick Jr in September of 2000 and continued in production until March of 2004. Cosby served as exec producer, along with Charles Kipps and David Brokaw. The show is produced and directed by Robert Scull and head writer is Fracaswell Hyman. Brown Johnson and Janice Burgess are co-exec producers for Nickelodeon Preschool Television.

NOGGIN, Nickelodeon’s commercial-free, educational preschool network, currently reaches 60 million households via cable, digital cable and satellite TV. The channel broadcasts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and also offers online programming at http://www.noggin.com.

I have always enjoyed Mr. Cosby\'s shows! I now watch Little Bill with my seventeen month old g-daughter. She absolutely loves Little Bill and dances to the music at the beginning of the cartoon. We both love him!!! Mr. Cosby, thank you for all you have done and continue to do in the lives of our children. God Bless You, Carol
