Having brought the taunt “Eat my shorts” into the common vernacular, Bart Simpson apparently drops his shorts in a scene in the upcoming Simpsons movie, according to Daily Variety. Word of a naked, skateboarding Bart came out after a 10-minute clip was previewed for a London audience on Wednesday. The film is slated to hit theaters on July 27.
Like a scene from an Austin Powers movie, Bart’s bare essentials are cleverly concealed by strategically-placed props until a gap in some hedges reveals his naughty bits, as the Brits say. Simpsons creator Matt Groening spoke to the crowd and noted that he expects the brief cartoon nudity and certain digs at politics and religion to raise objections, but pointed out that part of the series’ appeal is its willingness to go out on those limbs and offend the easily offended. He also said the film is a tribute to the disappearing art of hand-drawn animation.
Also included in the clip was a scene where rock band Green Day gets booed by Springfield’s citizens for delivering an environmental message. Green campaigner Lisa Simpson then falls for a fellow environmentalist from Ireland, who denies being the son of U2’s Bono.

My kids watch this show, and usually it\'s not that bad...but this is going too far. There shouldn\'t be any nude scene..and it should be blocked out, as it usually is.
As a mother, and a woman with a respectful job as a high school teacher, I\'m against this.

Can I just say, that I have seen the movie and it is only a brief second of it and there is nothing to bad that 13 year olds+ don\'t know about. As it is a PG13. The simpsons was not created for children, it was aimed at adults although children found it amusing. And notice that the DVDs for sale are PG13\'s.

The people here that are opposing the scene really should let it be what it is since nobody is forcing you to go see the movie. Okay, so what\'s the deal with the Simpsons movie and Bart going full frontal? Is there anyone out there that would not have gone to see this movie if they did not draw a weaner on Bart? I seriously doubt it, it wasn\'t funny when they put a clit in Southpark the movie and I highly doubt it will be any different with the Simpsons, although the Simpsons are trying to say they are the first to animate nudity in a cartoon on the big screen, wrong guys. To be quite frank, I find the fuss generated about Bart\'s nudity quite unnecessary. I\'ve seen the film and it\'s very funny. We all know Bart has a penis. Ahhh, the movie was all right, probably better if I were a simpson fan, 6 out of 10 in my book. No the bart thing was not the end of the world but it was not rely that funny either. I guess it would be if you were 13, I think matt growing screwed up a bit by putting it in because the movie rely did not need it, but whatever to each their own right.
It rely was not a big deal and matt growing is no hero for doing it, If he rely wanted to get attention and break a taboo he could have drawn a nude lisa, I\'m willing to bet mr. growing would not have had the courage for that one though. l.o.l.
