Lil’Bush Makes the Big Time on Small Screen

Friday, April 20, 2007
By: Ryan Ball

In what may be a TV first, Comedy Central’s new series Lil’ Bush (which premieres in June) comes to TV by way of mobile devices such as web-enabled cell phones. The property began as mobisodes seen on 2” mobile screens.

The show follows the misadventures of Lil' George Bush and his precocious pals Lil' Condi, Lil' Rummy and the unintelligible, foul-mouthed wisecracker Lil' Cheney. They're like the Lil' Rascals except they access to weapons of mass destruction. And instead of getting into mischief and learning stuff from other kids in the neighborhood, the little people in Lil’ Bush square off with rivals such as Lil' Kim Jong-Il and Lil' John Kerry. As with the venerable series The Simpsons, this one features celebrity guest voices while pushing the social satire envelope.

Each week the show follows the Lil' gang (along with irascible dad George Sr., sweetly sinister Bar, and dumb as paint Jeb) as they get mixed up in all sorts of crazy adventures from taking a field trip to Iraq to just taking crank. This show will probably not end up on any top ten list of the Republican National Committee—unless it’s an enemies list.

They sure seem to have some form of bigotry towards this fine Family.

Even as Bill Clinton lied about the Genocide in Rwanda, no one made a cartoon to vilify his Family.

Hatred and bigotry seems to be rampant from the liberal side these days.

    Rather tired in a way...

Liberal... conservative... does it really matter at all? Making wisecracks about politicians is an old thing, and this is just plain weird.

Ah well, I don\'t care much for politics in general.

The Bush Derangement Syndrome continues... These people can\'t help themsleves with their hatred of anything and anyone conseervative. They\'re a bunch of Stalinist. If you don\'t get in lockstep with their communist views, you are demonized. The intolerance of the so-called tolerant is breathtaking.

This will be much like \"My Bush\" with tiresome jokes and a run-time of about 6 episodes.

Not to mention, President Bush will be out of office in about 18 months - how\'s this going to be funny then?

I\'m just POSITIVE that Comedy Central has another program in the works about the Clintons - with lil\' interns on their knees servicing lil\' Billy

BDS - Bush Derangement Syndrome indeed

For everything Bill Clinton did--no one should forget Newt divorcing his first wife while she was in the hospital with cancer; the Livingston character who was prosecuting Bill while he was screwing his secretary; McCain dumping his first wife; WATERGATE; etc., etc. And now we have a war--no one died when Clinton lied.

One has only to watch Late Nite w/Letterman and the \"Great Moments in Presidential Speeches\" segment to understand just how ignorant AND comical Shrub Bush really is. And what makes him a true Joke is, he doesn\'t even realize he is pronouncing \'nuclear\' wrong. It is such a shame he gives Texas such a bad rep.

There is nothing like a tight a----d republican whining about jokes. They can\'t take it. You can\'t handle the fact that Bush is about as popular now as Richard Nixon was during Watergate. I have a message for you people, you picked this dummy to run for office now face the heat. The American people are sick of him and making fun of him is the least of your problems. Suck it up, lighten up, and have few laughs.

NO ONE DIED WHEN CLINTON LIED?!

Are you crazy? I guess Somalia didn\'t happen. AND i guess you are forgetting that Clinton is the one who didn\'t do what needed to be done to stop Osama or Saddam. Clinton has no balls and THAT is why people died.

You Liberals may be Americans just like the rest of us, but a few of you are not very good ones.

Why was there never an animated series about Clinton? Because his flaws aside, the guy was a politician - suave, articulate and able to piss off both sides on an issue and still maintain popularity.

Bush is NOT a politician; he\'s stammering, inarticulate and comes off like an arrogant, irrational boob.

This is nothing to do with politics, its just funny.

And by the by? Actually LOOK at the amp\'d mobil shorts before you question what the show is going to be like. They are on youtube and they were picked up by comedy central for a reason.

And That\'s My Bush was cancelled because of production costs and really was more of a parody of bad sitcoms than anything else.

    Jesus.

People always take politics so seriously, but why is it that politicians do not take their actions seriously. When are voters going to start taking serious action at the voting booths? We all complain and cry about what should be different and why, but only, “we the people” have the power to change that. This cartoon takes a humors look at how unacceptable and serious it really is the “we the people” have let politicians get away with this type of behavior. How can you be mad about someone wanting to find something to laugh about amongst all the sorrow and sadness? These are the rights our soldiers die for everyday, so that “we the people” can be fair, loving and kind to one another. So stop bickering over spilt milk and focus on coming up with some solutions to serious and more pressing concerns.

I loved the cartoon because it tells the truth about Bush!
Everything about the cartoon was nothing but pure facts of Bush...but his time in office is almost up...Thank GOD!!

i love the cartoon. Making GWB out to be satan is giving him too much credit. He\'s not intelligent or important enough to be seen as the prince of darkness. He\'s a dumb, wicked, petty little man who\'s so out of touch with his \"fellow americans\" that he is reduced to the butt of our jokes. He\'s destroying the economy to line his own pockets and those of his supporters, like OPEC, or does everyone think the quintupling of fuel costs in his reighn is coincidence?
