    Greetings!
Thought I should let you know that beyond my stint as VP Programming & Production at YTV Canada during it\'s formative creative era, I was also SVP, Animation & TV for Habbo Hotel of Sulake Labs, Helsinki from 2004-6, where I developed The Habbo Hotel Animation Challenge. It was another first wherein we selected/invited 15 studios from around the world to create a 3 minute teaser reel (for $25k USD) to capture their studio\'s creative interpretation of the on-line virtual world of Habbo. With 15 studios competing, we would then aggregate up the total content of 45 minutes, add in some \'making of\' and \'behind the scenes\' of Habbo world, compile a DVD, embed a PIN code and thereby enabling the members of the Habbo community to vote on-line for their \"favorite\" Habbosode\" through a direct-to-consumer play. Pure democratizination of the media and total empoweerment of the Habbo constituency. The sale price of the DVD would have been a modest pricepoint, with a percentage of the sales constituting \'credits\' for redeemable tokens (Habbo currency) along with some money being directed to a worthy global cause. The distribution would be internal, the voting by the Habbo club members and the clip chosed by the community would have been the creative springboard for the \"animated tv series\". This was in 2005\'ish as presented at MIP TV.
Thought I would add that, just to keep the record/s straight.
Not for self-promotion, but rather for clarity of roles...
    Thank you,
    Dale
