McConaughey’s Rooster Tales Lands at Fox

Fox is developing an animated TV series titled Rooster Tales, based on the life of actor Matthew McConaughey’s brother.
McConaughey will be an executive producer through is production company J.K. Living. The comedy series, currently in script stage, follows the tale of a rural sheriff who marries a younger woman from Mexico — and into a family with more than 100 members, according to Variety.
The project was pursued by multiple outlets, including TBS and Comedy Central.
Also serving as executive producers are Mike "Rooster" McConaughey, Mark Gustawes and Kell Cahoon.

I wish these celebrities would get the hell out of the animation field and leave some room for the REAL creative artist trying to pitch their idea to the studios. The plot sounds lame and hackneyed, and FOX is only considering it because of Matt\'s name, nothing more.
