Trailer Teases Family Guy’s Spoof of Empire Strikes Back

The Star Wars saga continues … Quahog style!

A new extended trailer has been released to promote the Dec. 22 home video release of Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side, the animated series’ second spoof the famous film series.

Fox bills the trailer as “a nearly exact remake” of the original trailer to 1980’s The Empire Strikes Back, which is the subject of this installment of the spoof.

The series retells the classic film with the Family Guy characters standing in for their more serious counterparts.

Family Guy: Something, Something, Something, Dark Side will be released Dec. 22 on iTunes, DVD and Blu-ray.
