Pleased with the show’s ratings since its premiere only three weeks ago, Fox has picked up a full second-season order of The Cleveland Show.

The show, which was spun off of Fox’s hit Family Guy, had already had a full 22-episode order for its current, first season as well as the first 13 of a second season. The pickup brings the total number of episodes ordered to 44.

The Cleveland Show has scored an average rating of 4.5 and share of 11 with adults 18-49 and 9 million viewers overall, according to Variety.

Why doesn\'t FOX animation just change its name to the House of Seth?

Based on what? Three weeks? I\'m surprised that when Seth comes of the bathroom, the FOX execs don\'t run in there looking for the toilet tissue so they can greenlight it for a script!

Fox will never take a chance on a no-name person, no matter how good you think your cartoon is. That\'s why when animation magazine holds their stupid contest every year, they\'re basically just taking your money. Seth could come out with a chinese Family Guy and it would get the greenlight before any of us could even get through the door at FOX studios. You\'re only chance is to spend big and present your cartoon out at NAPTE. Even then, it\'s still a gamble. Also, YOUTUBE is screaming for high quality video so they can attract advertisers. Fuck animation magazine and fuck FOX. Use the internet. None of these studios will ever give you a chance. Don\'t waste your money entering these animation contests. We would have a better chance if like 30 of us animators got together and pooled our resources to produce a high quality animation. From script to final render.
