Tropical Storm Ketsana did plenty of damage when it hit The Philippines on Saturday, creating massive flooding and killing about 140 people. And among the dead, hurt, homeless and injured are many colleagues from the animation business who can use your help.
To help out, Animation Magazine President Jean Thoren has made a donation on behalf of the publication to help out, and encourages our readers to do whatever they can to help out the Red Cross’ relief efforts.
Find out how you can help at The Philippine National Red Cross site at www.redcross.org.ph/Site/PNRC/wtd.aspx
Online donations also can be made at www.redcross.org.ph.
With a second storm brewing off the coast, the worst may not be over and the people of the Philippines — including our colleagues in animation — can use any help you can give.
