Since making a splash in 8 Mile, Dont Say A Word and Just Married, Hollywood hottie Brittany Murphy has been busy making deals.
The latest with Warner Bros. will see her star in both a live-action pic (Major Movie Star for producers Billy Gerber and Denise Di Novi) and a CGI-animated feature from Warner Bros. Australia-based co-production partner Village Roadshow. Happy Feet is slated to be directed by George Miller of Road Warrior and Babe fame. Happy Feet is a fable about Mumble, a young penguin (to voiced by Elijah Wood) and his adventures in Antarctica. Murphy will voice Mumbles love interest Gloria. The part will reportedly give Murphy a chance to sing as well. The film is scheduled to be finished in 2005, with a release date not yet announced.
